Fall Fun at Geisler Farms Begins Sept. 12
Enjoy the great outdoors by visiting the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Geisler Farms. The farm is open to the public on the weekends beginning Sept. 12 through Oct. 25.
The year 2020 marks the 15th anniversary of the corn maze. It also marks the 75th anniversary of Geisler Farms at its present location east of Ankeny.
Visitors can explore the 10-acre corn maze and four miles of trails.
Thanks to the generosity of Casey’s General Store, visitors who complete the corn maze may receive a coupon, while supplies last, good for one slice of Casey’s homemade pizza to their local Casey’s General Store. Additional maze promotional support is provided by DEKALB and Van-Wall Group.
In addition to the maze, the farm boasts 30 family activities. New this season is the hook the ring game and the 9-ft.tall big chair photo opportunity.
Due to COVID-19, wagon rides and the popular corn bin will not be available. Guests are asked to wear masks indoors and when they are unable to stand six feet away from others outside. They are encouraged to bring their own sanitizing supplies with them.
Pumpkins and other fall decorations will be available for purchase beginning Sept. 12th. Due to COVID-19, all carvable pumpkins are $7 each and will not be weighed. Visitors may take pictures next to the 8 ft. tall big pumpkin.
General admission for the maze and fun zone is $8.00 per person. Children age two and under are admitted free. There is no admission to purchase a pumpkin.
The farm is open on Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 25th. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm with the last admission at 5 pm.
Geisler Farms is conveniently located east of Ankeny at 5251 NE 94th Ave., Bondurant. There is road construction at Exit 92 on I-35 west of the farm. From I-35, please take Exit 90 at Oralabor Rd. or Exit 94 at NE 26th St.
