‘Tis the Season for a Christmas Tree
Geisler Farms will sell precut Fraser fir Christmas trees for the fifth season beginning on Black Friday, Nov. 29. The trees are from a family farm in Wisconsin that has presented the official Christmas tree to the White House on three occasions. Tree sizes range from 6 ft. up to 11 ft. tall.
Christmas tree sales hours will be Black Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Following opening weekend, the hours are weekdays, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sundays, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
In addition to trees, we will have greenery, wreaths, straw bales and ear corn for squirrels. Inside the Red Shed you will find tree stands, frozen apple pie and strawberry jam for purchase.
Pumpkin Video on YouTube
Are you still thinking about pumpkins? Des Moines-based Better Homes & Gardens filmed an “All About Pumpkins” video at Geisler Farms this fall that explains all the basics about pumpkins. It is located on BHG’s YouTube page.
Book your Farm Wedding and Reception
Geisler Farms hosts on-farm weddings and receptions from April through August. We still have a few openings for August 2020 and are taking appointments for 2021. The Red Shed offers nearly 7,000 square feet of indoor hosting space. The two-day rental includes use of the barn for a rehearsal dinner and dressing rooms. Please visit our website for additional information on how we can provide an authentic farm wedding experience.
