It is Pumpkin Season at Geisler Farms
Childhood Cancer Awareness Continues Through October at Geisler Farms
42 Youngsters Featured in the Geisler Corn Maze
Childhood cancer affects our friends, neighbors and others within our communities. With help from the Children’s Cancer Connection and Cris & Suzanne Friedrickson, names and pictures of 42 children affected by cancer are located inside the maze at the 20 posts. Three additional children are featured inside the Red Shed at the Children’s Cancer Connection display. The childhood cancer awareness campaign will continue at Geisler Farms through the end of October.
Great Pumpkin Crop, Lots to Select From
It is pumpkin season at Geisler Farms. We have plenty of our farm-grown pumpkins of all sizes to select. In particular, there are some fantastic 20- to 40-pound pumpkins available in the patch. In addition, we have corn shocks, big straw bales for $5 apiece, mini straw bales, butternut squash, pie and mini pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, ear corn and mums. There is no admission to purchase pumpkins. To access the pumpkins, walk past the new sales barn. For your convenience, a weigh and pay station is located on the east side of the barn.
Open Friday Afternoons in October
If the weekend is too busy, perhaps you can visit the corn maze and fun zone on a Friday afternoon. The farm will take maze admissions from 1:00 p.m. up until 7:00 p.m. on Fridays beginning Oct. 6th. Our pumpkin patch will also be open on Fridays in October from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Open Columbus Day
Geisler Farms has special hours on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 9. The farm and pumpkin patch will be open between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m.
