Geisler Farms celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Growing Family Fun corn maze and pumpkin patch this September. Beginning on Saturday, Sept. 5th, visitors can explore the 10-acre corn maze and five miles of trails featuring a barn quilt.
Get a bird’s-eye view of the maze and farm by climbing our observation deck then slide down one of the two tube slides. Geisler Farms has more than a dozen activities in the fun zone that adults can enjoy with their children including a tractor tire swing, adult trikes and rubber duck races. A new attraction is a 30 ft. x 50 ft. jump pad that visitors can bounce on. Weekend hayrides are also available, weather permitting.
From mid-September through October, purchase pumpkins, mums, straw and outdoor decorations. Take pictures next to the 8 ft. tall pumpkin. Concessions, gifts and restrooms are located inside the Red Shed.
Groups of 10 people or more may call ahead and reserve a firepit to enjoy for two hours during their farm visit on the weekends or week nights. Bring your own hotdogs, s’mores and sodas for a unique outdoor experience.
The farm is open on Saturdays and Sundays during September and October. Hours are 10 am to 8 pm both days. Geisler Farms is conveniently located east of Ankeny at 5251 NE 94th Ave., Bondurant. General admission for the maze and fun zone is $8.00 per person. Children age two and under are admitted free. Admission to the fun zone only is $5.00. There is no admission to purchase a pumpkin.
