FAQ - Geisler Farms - Growing Family Fun

Do you take credit or debit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. However, cash is preferred for food purchases at the concession stand.

Are you only open on the weekends?
Geisler Farms is open on the weekends from mid-September through October. Otherwise we accept groups of 10 or more by appointment during the week to visit the corn maze.

May I bring my dog to your farm?
For the safety of our guests, we do not allow dogs on the farm and in the pumpkin patch except for registered service dogs. If a dog accompanies your family to the farm, it must remain in your vehicle.

May I pick my pumpkin from the field?
Yes, we have a one-acre field to harvest your pumpkin from. Also, for your convenience, we have pumpkins adjacent to the parking lot. You are invited to borrow a yellow wagon and hunt for your preferred pumpkins.

Do I have to pay admission to buy a pumpkin?
Our pumpkin patch does not have paid admission. If you only wish to purchase pumpkins, park in our convenient rocked parking lot and walk to the west of the Red Shed and past the white barn. We have yellow wagons you may use as you walk through the thousands of pumpkins located south of the parking lot. You may pay for your pumpkins at the white barn.  We accept cash, credit and debit cards. Sorry, no personal checks.

May I drop off my teenager at the farm?
No one under the age of 16 will be admitted to Geisler Farms without an adult.

Do you serve food?
We have snacks and refreshments available on the weekends. They include water, hot cocoa, hot cappuccino, apple cider, pop, popcorn, cookies, nachos, corndogs and sliced apple pie. In October, we also offer walking tacos and beefy nachos from 11 a.m. -3 p.m.

May I bring in food to eat on the farm?
Sure. Have a picnic if you want using one of our benches on the farm.  People who reserve a firepit may also bring in food to eat during their group appointment.

Is the corn maze haunted or have lights at night?
We do not haunt the maze. We do not have stadium lights for the maze paths. If you wish to visit the maze after sunset, please bring a flashlight with you to read your maze map.

Is your farm accessible to wheelchairs?
Yes it is. Our Red Shed has no steps. It has ADA-compliant restrooms. Geisler Farms has two hayracks with chair lifts so we may provide rides to guests who need assistance. When we have dry conditions, the corn maze paths are smooth enough for wheelchairs and strollers.

May I bring a wagon/stroller to the farm to transport my child in?
Yes you may. A wagon/stroller is suitable for a farm visit and to walk through the corn maze unless we have muddy conditions.
